FC: A Conversation

This is a written "conversation" Max and i had about his first Saved by Typing experience.  i can't promise my handwriting was legible, or that i framed the questions as well as i should've,but this is a copy of our exchange.

Here, i  wrote the italicized words after he had answered.

How did you feel about the typing you did with Sharon?

___ she was choosing words and typing through my hand

_X_she was just helping me type what i wanted to type

So are you SKEPTICAL about it ___ or excited and want to do more _X_

You said i should learn how to do it with you.

_X_ yes ___no ___ i said yes, but i want to do it with someone else.

The facilitator (helper) has to have VERY good timing and muscle control to make sure she's helping you, not using your hand to type what she wants you to. i remember when i was trying to clicker train Puppers. You have to click at exactly the right time for it to train the behavior you wanted, & i always clicked too late.

i don't think i'd be a good facilitator for you but i could try.
