Wordless Wednesday: New Toy

i'm always picking up pencil sharpeners.  Even the best hand-held ones are pretty cheap, from about

$ 1 or less to $6.  i don't remember where or when i picked this one up, but i've only recently begun using it.
This is how it comes.  i like that the eraser comes with it.

The shavings compartment is a bit tiny, but while having it out for use, i can swap the compartments.  The pieces have to return to the original conformation, however, if i want to stow the eraser to travel again.
Generally, a cheap sharpener will probably work for you.  Like i said, they're inexpensive enough to try any of them you care to.  The great thing about the Kum brand is the blades.  Yes, they get dull like any other blade, but the high quality metal works very well.  i've put them in cheap plastic housings occasionally.

These products are available at many suppliers.  Here's the company homepage. https://www.kum.net/index.php/en/pencil-sharpener/
