Since i usually work, like a decorative painter, from another artist's drawing, i'm not free to share my work here. However, this time, i'm drawing from a photo. i didn't take this photo, but it's in my collection, taken by someone in my family, probably my deceased mom, of her dog, so i feel comfortable in claiming this image.

This is not a hugely thought-out post. Or maybe i should say, a very ordered post.
i have been thinking about a long time. It seems to me that a lot of the Really Big Creative People, the ones who have Changed the World, have been people who haven't fit in as kids.
But the Not Fitting In is our uniqueness. We should get comfortable with it, run with it, and not try to be like everyone else.
Not gonna happen anyway. And we need all of us to have it all.
