My OTHER Most Successful Experience of Teaching Painting

Earlier i promised you more about that "other" successful art teaching experience.
  That was
the lady who had been attending craft fairs for years & not buying anything.  She told me that she had been telling herself she could do anything there, that the merchandise was all overpriced anyway.

But the time had come to pay up or shut up.  Could she really?

Like most of my students, she painted beautifully.  She really could have painted just about anything that she saw & wanted.
But she decided she didn't want to.  Having painted my six simple introductory projects, she decided that the items for sale were more than likely UNDERpriced, and
she would jolly well buy whatever she wanted.

For this woman, learning to paint was learning to see that supporting art was better than producing art.
