Advice from the case manager

  Our Case Manager advised:

  • that we switch pharmacies.  This is NOT a medication that is safe to do without, & they should've handled it just about any other way than one allowed us to go without
  • switch paying for it to Medicaid.  This can be retroactive - ask them.
  • i had thought that our waiver is separate from regular Medicaid.  But we/Max still have the regular services.
  • Flash that card at doctor's offices and pharmacies.
  • Make sure we have Max's guardianship left to a definite person in our wills.  Otherwise he will be expected to navgate the process of getting another or to to without.
  • ask at BDDS about something called The Community Integration Waiver.
