The last photo was taken around 1990, before my mom's cancer returned. It is how i remember them after i became an adult.
The other photos are before me - they were married 9 years before i was born (12:06am, the day after their anniversary). In the center of course is their wedding day, and the other two are at the home of one set of their parents or the other. i especially love the sexy one on the left - not expressions i ever saw on their faces, but very much a "young love" picture.
If my mom had survived to the end of the month, they would have been married forty-four years.
Joanna and John Hall express the feelings of such a relationship. i see this in looking at my parents' relationship, as well as our own.
