A Phone Survey, Very Short

It's that time of year again: political surveys leading to the fall elections.  i got one of those calls yesterday afternoon.
The fella wanted to know if i thought Indiana is going the right way.
  Well, actually no.
Encouraged, he asked about a couple of specific candidates, one of whom i'd not heard.
i said i'd have to research them more.
He asked if i'd trust business leaders for education issues or teachers' unions.
  Seriously?
If you've read this blog long, you know what i think.
Yes, they should talk together more instead of working at cross purposes.
  One or the other?
  Let's see.
Would i take advice from the people who are actually doing the work, with students far more numerous and less ready to learn than Teacher Susie's , or the people in corner offices who think taxes are for knocking down neighborhoods & decent stadiums to build fancier ones, not libraries & parks & preschools?
The fella quickly thanked me and hung up.
  Not the answer he wanted?
Come to think of it, i don't think he asked me if i would be willing to take the survey, will i please answer his questions, anything like that.
