Not Quite Wordless Wednesday: French Cathedral

Chartres Cathedral, 1976, from the edge of town

One of those Photos my friends thought i shouldn't take: One of the gorgeous, famous stained glass windows in the cathedral - not enough detail to determine which

When i showed my sister the scrapbook page i'd made with the top photo, i asked her what was missing (from the design of the page).  She said, "I am."
i enjoyed worshipping as i roamed the interior of the cathedral.  However, a strange contrast is my favorite little story (Fiction, thankfully!) of the church is the bizarre little tale by Steve Martin:  http://prosemastery.blogspot.com/2009/07/demolition-of-cathedral-at-chartres.html
