So many things to be shared out or disposed of after a death. i'm sure it had been years, even decades, since she wore these clip- or screw-on earrings, not to mention the other things here. Maybe lots of these were also inherited.
In going through this box, i think i put together more than two dozen pairs of earrings. One of a pair would be in "Compartment A," another in "Compartment D." A few came from other stashes of possessions, but about 90% of them were in this box.
