Life on the Computer Farm: Upgrading Again

  This is  not a good setup.  The table is magnificent in its way, but
totally not designed for modern computing needs.  And the table deserves a home more public than the corner of an upstairs playroom.
  But this is a family table.  i am sentimental.  i do not want to simply get rid of it.  Accordingly, my sister has agreed to accept it.  It may not suit her needs much better (philosophy: horozontal surfaces are magnetic), but she is sentimental too.
  And she  has a living room where it can be seen.
  Accordingly, we are going to be rearranging the playroom to accomodate a new computer desk.  i may be offline a few days, or at least off THIS computer, while we rearrange pretty much everything in the room.
  It's like one of those old slide puzzles.  Remove this, then we can move that, then the next thing.  And so on.
