Monday Maintenance: once more in the spambox

So many of you are making comments for me.  THANK YOU!
While most comments will not be published with the original post, since they tend to not add to any ongoing discussion, i would like to address most of them.
  Here is today's batch:

spam

Ok, all you guys with the anonymous comments.  i know you are real people, not bots, and i want you to know you are heard.   But sorry, you are spam.  i cannot add your compliments to my post.  The comments should contribute to the discussion and be on-topic.  If they do not, they are spam.  Add a little bit of your experience, something.
And a name.  Even if you make it up.  Boom has a couple of anonymous profiles, as well as one or more withhis own name.  It's not hard. It's not criminal.  All you who go by Anonymous are not the same person.  Show me.

website issues

Someone is irked by receiving the endless, irrelevant comments on this post.  Me too, though i at least appreciate that they are all positive!  this is exactly why i can't approve them.  This person asks how to turn off the notification.  Boom, do you have any ideas?  Tech-savvy i'm not; no clue here.
browser compatibility: Usually people tell me this loads quickly.  i have no control of that.  i do have a few pics that slop over into the sidebars, but not many.  If one of those bothers you, make a comment on that post please.  i probably did it deliberately to show the detail without having youclick to enlarge, but something may have gotten past me.  But please let me know.  With an ID.
slow load: Again, something i have little if any control over.  i do seem to remember something vague from my blogclass in '11 about being able to influence it somewhat, but i don't know what, and that's more a server issue.    Especially, Boom tells me, if you have Internet Explorer.  You might want to download Firefox or Chrome.  They're free, and i don't think they're all that much trouble to install.  (Says someone who does none of that herself.)

mobile

If you're viewing on a mobile device, there should be a place, possibly at the bottom of the page, that you can click on for a "Mobile View."  i don't usually use mobile, so, while i have seen it, i don't care for it on my iPad, and definitely prefer the standard view on the pc.

theme: paid or?

"I truly love your blog.. Excellent colors & theme. Did you make this site yourself? Please reply back as I'm looking to create my own personal site and would love to know where you got this from or what the theme is called."

The header photo is my own.  i think i could possibly make it work myself now, but it was sized by Cris Goode, when she was under contract to Arc of Indiana.    The content is my own or attributed.
The theme, however, is a variation, though my own personal one, of Blogger's Simple template.  You may have noticed that other major bloghost has thousands of themes.  i get tired looking through them all, and none of them are right.  On Blogger, there are a limited number of themes, but you can personalize them endlessly.  i like playing with them.  Greg's Maximizing Personal Independence is also a Simple theme.
My Living in Judges 2 blog is Watermark template, but David Sprowl's is Picture Window.  Notice that so customizeable are these that Diveboard Dave looks more like Judges 2 than MPI looks like WonderFULL
i haven't been able to figure how to link you to the blogger templates (i seem to need to go through my login), but the search that got me to what i want to share was "Create a blogspot blog."
You can easily pay for your theme/template, but it's simple to do your own, especially if you have a more tech-savvy friend beside you.
By the way, this comment is an excellent example of a good candidate for emailing to me.  The address, sort of coded to head off evil bots, is in the sidebar.

plagiarism worries

At least one of you asked whether i am worried about plagiarism.  i believe this was the same person who asked about keeping people from stealing my stuff.
Well, i really don't think about that much.  i want it to be shared.  Please credit me - see the little circles at the bottom of the page for more information - and don't sell it or pass it off as your own.
But sure, i want everyone to see what i'm doing.  Someone asked about quoting me:
"Do you mind if I quote a few of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your blog? My blog site is in the very same area of interest as yours and my users would definitely benefit from a lot of the information you present here. Please let me know if this alright with you. Many thanks!"
Yes, this is exactly what i mean.
Plus, creativity is not creating something from nothing.  Of course people get ideas from somewhere else.  The point is to take unrelated ideas to make something new.
i have learned much from the Biblical teachings of Dr. J. Vernon McGee, but one nonBiblical thing that applies here is his quote, "Graze in everyone's pasture, but make your own milk."
A scientist could analyze the milk and figure out which fields the cow had been grazing in.  That's legitimate.    Stalks of grass in the milk - is not.

  And here.

p.c.?

One commenter writes, " You appear to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I feel that you could do with some p.c. to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, that is fantastic blog. A great read."
Again, thank you for the compliment.  If p.c. is politically correct, though, it ain't gonna happen.
Kind and respectful, i hope, but poliitcally correct for its own sake, that seems a sellout to me.

Link Sharing

" Thank you a bunch for sharing this with all people you actually recognise what you are
talking about! Bookmarked. Please also discuss with my site =). We could have a hyperlink exchange arrangement between us"

Yes, please link me.  As far as reverse linking, that's another matter for email.   You want to, you send the first one.  The address is right on every page i have.

Other Webpages with Similar Information?

i've linked bunches throughout this site, including many autism links under my "Page," "Autism, Special Needs, and Getting Help in IN."  Many links are specific to Indiana.  Not all of them, and many that are have info relevant out of state.  Indianna Resource Center for Autism, for example - we can consider the name as much for where the Center is located as where the information applies.
Check out my blogroll too.  Many of those are autism-related links.
And, again, please email me if you know of something i don't.  Or comment in a relevant post.

Miscellaneous

  whew, finally through these.
Yes, it would be simpler to follow advice received and delete ALL of you.
Yes, it would be simpler to just approve all of you.
i may sometime need to do that.  i think this represents ploughing through like 75 comments.  i know it took two hours, just from when i sat down this last time, not counting the work i did ahead of time.
Don't you think it would decrease our quality if i did approve all of those comments?

Finally, one of you Anonymous people found me by error, when looking for something else.
Kindred spirit!  i find so many things that way = too many probably.
